In various articles, I talk about misconceptions of Putin- which are natural considering that most people are influenced by mainstream memes generated by the media and American exceptionalism. However, Putin is not the Great Satan. He is actually a working class Jew (his mother was Jewish and he was partially raised by two Jewish families). He is an autodidact, a self-learner, a lawyer, a student of history and oriental philosophy. He is conservative but in most respects similar to an old-fashioned liberal.
