However, I think that RF's losses as reported by the MoD whose figures are generally close to reality are commensurate with a lightning strike through enemy lines. The lost tanks and lives which save tanks and lives later. And their losses were to some extent mitigated by air power. Speed=power. Keep in mind that Pentagon sources now estimate the UAF had a 3 to 1 advantage. RF left corralled Kiev with only 40,000 troops. Ritter says it was a strategical victory despite tactical losses rather like the German victory in the Battle of France. Hard to categorize because this is not a "war" by Western standards ("shock & awe"), so operating according to different parameters than we are used to, as I suggest in other articles on this site and also on substack ("newsforensics").
